A unique program that seeks to inspire passion in tea, the Dilmah School of Tea seeks to educate hospitality professionals, tea connoisseurs and consumers about the artisanal aspects of tea. It focuses on the importance and versatility of real tea in Tea Gastronomy, food pairing and Tea Mixology.

Established in 2009 by Merrill J. Fernando and his sons Dilhan & Malik to share with the world their unique perspectives on tea and its rich cultural heritage, the School of Tea is the world’s first consumer and hospitality tea school, seeking to educate professionals in the hospitality industry in the art of preparing, presenting and understanding tea. Partnered with the World Association of Chef’s Societies (WACS), the school provides an unmatched standard of education with its comprehensive training programme conducted at a state-of-the-art training facility.
