It’s rare to come across someone who doesn’t enjoy Moroccan Mint Green Tea – which is why we thought of sharing a few tea-inspired beverage recipes that use Dilmah Pure Ceylon Green Tea with Moroccan Mint as their base. There are countless ways in which to incorporate this refreshing tea into cocktails, mocktails, shakes, and so much more. Here are four recipes that we hope will add a bit of versatility and new perspective on how you can enjoy your Dilmah Moroccan Mint Green Tea. RECIPE 1: Cucumber and Moroccan Mint Ice Cubes (tea-inspired ice cubes)
Use these sassy ice cubes to pep up any chilled tea, infusion or mild beverage of your choice. We think they’re a fabulous idea when hosting, too.

What you need:
- 400 ml Dilmah Moroccan Mint Green Tea, prepared by brewing 4 tea bags in hot water for 2 mins (see how to make a perfect brew here)
- ½ cucumber
- 12 fresh mint leaves
- 15 ml ginger syrup
- ice cube mould tray
How to prepare:
- Strain the brewed tea and allow to cool.
- Brush the ice cube moulds with ginger syrup.
- Slice the cucumber thinly and place a slice in each cube mould.
- Pour the strained and cooled tea into the tray moulds.
- Place one fresh mint leaf in each mould on the tray.
- Freeze until set.
RECIPE 2: Minty Turmeric Tea (tea-inspired immunity booster)
Flu season seems to last all-year-round in this post-COVID era! It’s always a good idea to give your immunity a natural boost every now and then. Here’s something that could work well.

What you need:
- 1 cup Dilmah Moroccan Mint Green Tea, prepared by brewing 1 tea bag in hot water for 2 mins (see how to make a perfect brew here)
- 15 ml lemon juice
- a few slices of fresh ginger
- a few mint leaves
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- honey (to taste)
- pot for boiling
How to prepare:
- Prepare tea brew and boil in a pot together with lemon juice, ginger (slightly pound, if preferred) and turmeric for 5-7 minutes.
- Serve warm, or refrigerate to serve chilled.
- Pour into a cup/mug, add honey (to taste) and garnish with mint leaves.
RECIPE 3: Coconut Green Tea (tea-inspired tropical mocktail)
Here’s a tropical temptation that we think would cool anyone down on a warm summer day.

What you need:
- 200 ml Dilmah Moroccan Mint Green Tea, prepared by brewing 1 tea bag in hot water for 2 mins (see how to make a perfect brew here)
- 50 ml fresh coconut water
- 1 stick fresh lemongrass
- 4-5 ice cubes
- fresh mint leaves for garnish
- shaker
How to prepare:
- Strain the brewed tea and allow to cool.
- Boil the fresh coconut water and lemongrass together for 2 mins and allow to cool.
- Pour both cooled liquid elements, along with ice, into a shaker and shake well.
- Pour into a glass and garnish with mint leaves, serve chilled.
RECIPE 4: Moroccan Mint Tea Latte(tea-inspired gourmet mocktail)
This one’s for those of you who like to be a little more adventurous in the kitchen – or rather, at the counter.

What you need:
- 150 ml Dilmah Moroccan Mint Green Tea, prepared by brewing 1 tea bag in hot water for 2 mins (see how to make a perfect brew here)
- 15 ml sweetened double cream
- 1 cocktail spoon castor sugar
- cocoa powder for dusting
- fresh mint sprig for garnish
- espuma gun
How to prepare:
- Add sugar into the bottom of the serving glass and pour the brewed tea into it.
- Top the brew with a layer of double cream espuma (culinary foam) using the gun.
- Dust some cocoa powder onto the cream and garnish with the mint sprig.
