Love it or not, it is officially the ‘month of love’ for 2025. So, we thought of sharing a few simple recipes that you can easily put together to show some love to that someone special, or to all the special people in your life – yourself included.
The star of these tea-inspired recipes is our tea of the month – Dilmah Rose with French Vanilla Tea. You may also use Dilmah Exceptional Rose with French Vanilla tea bags instead. We’ve put together something hot and spicy, something smooth and chilled, and something sweet and fun to take your pick from. Go ahead, try them all!
RECIPE 1: Baileys Chai (tea-inspired hot chai cocktail)
What you need:
- 150ml Dilmah Rose with French Vanilla Tea, prepared by brewing 6g loose leaf in 250ml boiling water for 5 mins (see how to make a perfect brew here)
- 40ml condensed milk
- 25ml Baileys
- 25ml coconut cream
- 2 pouring jugs for pulling tea
- Mug for burning Baileys
- Mug for serving
- Gas lighter
How to prepare:
- Pour 150ml of the brewed tea and condensed milk into a pouring jug and froth it up by pulling between two jugs.
- Add coconut cream and microwave for 8-10 seconds.
- Pour Baileys into a mug and flame it. While it burns, froth chai up again by pulling.
- Pour frothed chai into the serving mug and pour the flaming Baileys over it.

RECIPE 2: Rose with French Vanilla t-Faluda (tea-inspired chilled shake)
What you need:
- 150ml Dilmah Rose with French Vanilla Tea, prepared by brewing 4g loose leaf in 200ml boiling water for 5 mins (see how to make a perfect brew here)
- 80ml condensed milk
- ½ scoop vanilla ice cream
- 10 cut cubes strawberry flavoured set jelly
- 3 ice cubes
- Tall glass
- Blender
- Garnish options – strawberries / dark, milk or white chocolate shavings
How to prepare:
- Prepare brew and set aside to cool / refrigerate to chill.
- Add condensed milk into brew and mix well.
- Pour into blender, add vanilla ice cream and ice cubes, blend until frothy.
- Place jelly cubes in glass and pour the blended beverage over it. Garnish if required.

RECIPE 3: Rose with French Vanilla Marshmallows (tea-inspired sweet treat)
What you need:
- 120ml Dilmah Rose with French Vanilla Tea, prepared by brewing 4g loose leaf in boiling water for 5 mins (see how to make a perfect brew here)
- 250g sugar
- 20g glucose
- 80g egg whites, freshly whipped
- 6 gelatin leaves
- Powdered sugar with cornstarch for dusting
- Tray for setting
How to prepare:
- Boil brewed tea, sugar and glucose to 118oC. Add gelatin leaves.
- Add this syrup into freshly whipped egg whites, while gently whisking until a smooth texture is obtained.
- Slowly pour the smooth mix out onto the tray and allow to set.
- Once set, cut the marshmallow into cubes with a sharp knife, and dust with powdered sugar and cornstarch mix to coat completely.
